Johanna Hemara is a singer songwriter who is about to take the country music world by storm. Based in Sydney NSW Australia.

Johanna started singing and yodeling at a very young age, and has won a number of awards at the Tamworth Country Music Festival, which include the K.Mart Jazzer Smith Award & the Barry Thornton Encouragement Award.
Known best for her ability to yodel with ease, Johanna also has an amazing singing voice with a huge range and can sing just about any style of music, although Country is her passion.

Singing and writing country music is where Johanna's heart lies, and when the opportunity to record a quality Album presented itself, Johanna decided that the country music genre would be her sole focus for 2010.
Her new album, "Starting Over", is produced by Herm Kovac and features some of the best musicians from Australia and the USA. The songs on the Album feature a mixture of her own songs and songs written by some of the best songwriters in Nashville.
Upon its release Starting Over made it to the top 30 Australian Country Charts. Johanna Hemara is a young singer/songwriter who is destined to make her presence on the Australian country music scene in 2010 and beyond.
