2010 sees the release of I am the reVolution.
Two Voyager tracks that have been in high rotation on Resonance Radio this year are "Land of The Lies" and "Devil In Me" which have also proven to be two of the more popular tracks off the album according to Voyager's album poll (see more on the Voyager website).  These guys know what they're fanbase want to hear and have continued to evolve from their inception in 2000.

I am the reVolution is the newest benchmark set by a very viable Australian band that is now showing something extremely special to the world of Melodic Metal with this latest release.

There is an insightfulness to the Voyager philosophy and their take on where the future of Progressive Melodic Metal is heading.

BIOGRAPHY

"I don't care what you call this band: prog, metal, melodic rock or dark metal, but just call it brilliant." - That's what one reviewer said about the band who stands tall in its uniqueness in today's sea of music. That band is Australia's VOYAGER.

Aptly defined as "A metal incarnation of 80s legends A-HA", VOYAGER has always appealed to a massive spectrum of music connoisseurs. For fans of SOILWORK, NIGHTWISH and HIM, right through to those who embrace the neoclassical masters MUSE, this Australian band combines it all into a melting pot of incredible melodies and arrangements.

VOYAGER began its journey in 2000, guided by vocalist/keyboard maestro Daniel Estrin, and have since skyrocketed to the top of the ladder of metal innovation.  Having released "Element V"  in 2004, the band performed with STEVE VAI before making its way to European shores for PROGPOWER 2006 to play alongside SCAR SYMMETRY and RIVERSIDE. The band's follow-up album "uniVers" (2007) received rave reviews, becoming album of the month in several major metal magazines. It wasn't long before the band had to grapple with new heights, playing with NIGHTWISH and making its journey back to Europe for PROGPOWER UK 2008 and several other tourdates in Switzerland, Denmark, Germany and Holland.

In 2009, everything was brought up 2000%, with the band entering the legendary Kingdom Studios with Engineer Adam Round to record "I am the reVolution". With Mark Boeijen on Drums, Alex Canion on bass, Chris Hanssen on guitars and Simone Dow tastefully shredding all male guitarists into oblivion, there was no way back for Daniel Estrin from the 12 epic songs that make up this album. With neosurrealist master George Grie providing the amazing coverart, the modern but warm sound needed the touch of Ue Nastasi (SOILWORK, PARADISE LOST, LAMB OF GOD)  at STERLING SOUND in New York City, who mastered the album to perfection. "I am the reVolution" is a journey into the overloaded information age, with a sound so versatile and unique that is is simply unforgettable... the reVolution begins HERE!
