Diamond Eye - Alive and Kicking

DIAMOND EYE - ALIVE AND KICKING
Released January 2011
The tracks from Diamond Eye’s “Alive and Kicking” are unabashedly raw and “in your face” - much like the live shows Diamond Eye is renowned for – and the boys make no apologies for it, nor take any prisoners!
This debut album (recorded live at the Civic Hotel) was a smart move by the band members who are not shy about the fact that their ‘live show’ is what keeps the fans coming back - and growing.
“Alive and Kicking” is a great tribute not only to the fans, but also to bands like KISS who are clearly an inspiration for these rock monsters. (KISS’s fourth album “Alive” was considered their breakthrough album as well as a landmark for live recordings.)
Smart?... Yes.
“Alive and Kicking” captures the raw energy the band and their close to full house of fans who were there to support and revel in the rock arena proportions of this dynamic band from the West Coast. This album has been recorded with the fans and for the fans as a prelude to bigger things to come for Diamond Eye.
For many, this will be a collectors item in years to come… where fans look back and say “We were there!”.
