With the flu season well upon us, and a new strain that is harder on the younger generations, large gatherings in enclosed places could potentially  cause your fans and patrons to fall ill, and this is neither good for the fan or patron, and is also bad for business. I am urging Venues to provide plenty of hand sanitiser dispensers and towelettes, as well as tissues and safe disposal bins, on your bars and tables as well as in the toilet facilities.

Bands, just in case your venue will not provide these items, bring along a couple of hand sanitiser dispensers of your own and please remind your fans to make use of them. Healthy people keep coming back. Don't help spread illnesses. Let's show the world that the Music Industry has a social conscious with the little things before a major catastrophe so we don't need to raise funds for the victims. Fans, if you suspect that you have the flu, don't go to the gig. Don't risk spreading these lurgies.
